Property Advertisers' Terms and Conditions
- Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions 'we' means Maisons Bretonnes, its agents
and employees. 'Advertiser' means any individual or legal body whose
advertisement, including photos, images, textual information, logos
and any other proprietary marks appears on the maisonsbretonnes.com
web site. 'Property advertisement' includes both the short entry advertisement
and the linked property page with additional details and images.
- Intellectual Property Rights of Advertisers
Photographs and images properties for sale, or of their surroundings,
on the maisonsbretonne.com web site are owned by the advertising property
owners or their agents, and is protected by copyright, trade mark or
other proprietary rights and laws. Maisonsbretonnes may, when appropriate,
include private adervtisers' property details on other advertising websites.

of copyright, or has authority from the copyright owner to grant Maisons
Bretonnes permission to use the material. The advertiser indemnifies
Maisons Bretonnes against any action brought by breach of copyright
from the use of such material supplied by the advertiser. Maisons Bretonnes
cannot be held responsible for any infringement of copyright laws resulting
from material supplied by the advertisers.
- Liability
Maisons Bretonnes does not guarantee that the operation of the web site
will be error free or uninterrupted. In no event shall Maisons Bretonnes
become liable to the advertiser or site user for any special, consequential,
incidental or indirect damages, including lost profits, however caused,
on any theory of liability.
- Web site design and layout
We reserve the right to determine the design layout of the website,
including the right to edit copy, or amend layouts or photographs supplied.
We cannot be held responsible for any loss, or damage, resulting from
the design, or positioning, of the properties, or changes made to the
photographs and copy submitted by the customer.
- Removal of an advertisement
A new property advertisement will be removed from the site if the payment
from the advertiser does not clear in the bank, or is cancelled.
If complaints from any number of site users that an advertisement misrepresents
the property or its surroundings are substantiated, we reserve the right
to edit the text of that advertisement, or remove that advertisement
without notice, and retain full payment. We will inform you if we do
this. If advertisers wish to have their advertisement removed from the
website this will be done as soon as we receive formal notice from the
subscriber by email or letter. No refunds will be given.
- Quality of Service for Users - advertisers availability
for enquirers
In order to maintain a good quality of service to potential buyers,
we require all advertisers to ensure that enquiries about their advertisements
are replied to promptly by telephone or email. Should advertisers be
unavailable for a period of more than 1 week, we ask them to leave an
answering machine or voicemail message for enquirers responding to the
advert, or set up an automatic response on their email account. If none
of these options is possible, we ask advertisers to contact us and arrange
for Maisons Bretonnes to temporarily be the initial contact point.
- Changes to pricing and conditions.
We reserve the right to change the rates and conditions without notice.
Any new rates will be applicable immediately for new advertisers.
Privacy Policy
Maisons Bretonnes treats the personal information of advertisers with respect and confidentiality and takes reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is stored securely and accurately. We will not keep your personal information for longer than is necessary for your advertising purposes. Your personal information will never be provided to any third party for their marketing or promotional use.
