Once you have acquired the keys to that new property in Brittany, be it holiday home or permanent residence, it may be that before you are able to move in renovation works are needed.

We are able to offer our services to remove some of the stress which can be involved in finding suitable artisans and workers for doing those works and to ensure that they are carried out to meet your requirements and timescales.

If the property is already habitable or needs very little work doing our services can help ease your way through all the tasks that have to be done before you can be properly settled in, such as setting up of utility services including meter reading and changeover.

At the pre-renovation stage we can assist with:

Clearing of building(s) and rubbish disposal
Roof and guttering checks

Clearing or arranging for clearance of land area
Obtaining information regarding planning/building permissions
Progression of applications

Once renovation is under way:

Contractor liaison and supervision including selection of reputable local
expertise for various building works such as masonry, roofing, carpentry,
septic tank installation, electrical and plumbing services
Obtaining services of kitchen and bathroom installers
Arranging for installation estimates

If you are undertaking renovation work yourself, it may be that you are only able to do this as part of a holiday break and time to spend on the renovation is precious. We can help save you time on arrival by:

Taking your instructions as to what work you will wish to carry out on arrival
Sourcing and advice on obtaining necessary materials
Arranging for prompt supply and delivery of materials ahead of your arrival
so that you can start work without having to waste time seeking out suppliers,
ordering, and awaiting that delivery.

Quotations for our services are tailored to clients’ individual requirements with full itemised costs. In order to ensure that works are carried out correctly and in conformance with national regulations, we only instruct French sub-contractors.
