Lohuec is a small village north of the pretty market town of Callac, which offers restaurants, shops, cinema, the market on a Wednesday, and other amenities. To the north east of the village is the foret of Beffou, part of the national park, with guided walks and a a chance to see a wood cutter at his cottage making Breton clogs. Resorts such as Locquirec on the north Brittany coast are only about a 1 hour drive away.
